I've shared a little of my story here....
I'm a Georgetown, Ontario based wedding and lifestyle photographer who feels so blessed to be doing what I love and loving what I do every day. I believe that every person has a story to share, and my goal is to capture just a piece of this story in photographs so you can share it with those you love and cherish the most.
A Little of My Story:
A career in photography was not on my radar as I selected my university and declared my major. As the daughter of a principal I believed I was to follow in my mother's footsteps and leave my mark on children's hearts and minds.
However, it seems my Heavenly Father had something else in mind.. Carolyn Bentum Photography came into existence while I was teaching and using my love of photography to document my student's learning stories. In the fall of 2010 when I was expecting our first son I made the difficult, but so rewarding, decision to leave teaching and begin my own photography business. and I haven't looked back since.
When I'm not busy shooting, editing, and doing the "businessy" side
of things you will find me cuddling and playing with my boys, reading,
and doing "projects" as my husband calls them, I call it being creative!
